Terms of Use

Last updated 23 October 2026

This is a translation. If it differs from the Thai version, the Thai version prevails.

These terms are an agreement between you and Trin Borwornpatdharapanich, the operator of mongdoo.com. By using the site, logging in or posting a listing, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. What mongdoo is

mongdoo is an online classifieds marketplace. Buyers and sellers agree on the price, payment and delivery directly with each other.

  • mongdoo is not a buyer, seller, agent or escrow, and is not a party to any sale.
  • We don't guarantee the quality, accuracy or legality of items, or that users will do what they agreed.
  • Posting listings is currently free and we take no commission. If we introduce paid services, we'll always tell you the terms and price first.

2. Your account

  • You must be an adult, or have a parent's or guardian's consent.
  • Use your own real details, keep to one account per person, and don't impersonate other people or shops.
  • Keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

3. Listings

  • Only list items you own or have the right to sell, and that you can actually hand over.
  • Photos must show that exact item or be photos you have the right to use. Description, price and condition must be true, and defects must be stated clearly.
  • One listing per item. No duplicates, and no unrelated keywords or categories.
  • Don't include other people's personal data, and avoid putting bank account numbers in listings.
  • Some items need documents: vehicles need a registration book and a seller entitled to transfer it; property must be owned by the seller or sold under a power of attorney.
  • When an item is sold or no longer for sale, change its status in My listings.

4. Offers, automatic acceptance and automatic price drops

  • An offer is the buyer's statement of intent. Buyer and seller still arrange payment and delivery between themselves.
  • Sellers can accept or decline each offer in My listings. Once an offer is accepted the item is marked reserved and the buyer is told in chat.
  • If a seller turns on “Auto-accept offers”, the system accepts any offer at or above the seller's lowest price on the seller's behalf straight away, even when the seller is offline, and marks the item as reserved.
  • If a deal falls through, the seller can set the item back to On sale to take other offers.
  • If a seller turns on “Auto price drop”, the system lowers the price on the chosen schedule down to the lowest price.
  • Sellers are responsible for these settings and should check them before turning them on.

5. Prohibited items and conduct

Do not list or trade the following (more examples on the Prohibited items page):

  • narcotics, psychotropic substances and drug paraphernalia
  • firearms, ammunition, explosives and other illegal weapons
  • counterfeit goods, goods infringing trademarks or copyright, and goods obtained illegally
  • protected wildlife, their remains or parts, and plants the law forbids trading
  • items that may not be sold online under Thai law, such as alcoholic drinks, e-cigarettes and prescription medicines
  • official documents, ID cards, bank accounts, SIM cards, and accounts for any service
  • sexual content or services, gambling, and anything contrary to public order or good morals

Do not:

  • scam others, for example by asking for a transfer or deposit with no real item, sending fake links, or pretending to be the mongdoo team
  • spam, threaten, harass or use hate speech
  • scrape other users' data with automated tools, or try to break into or disrupt the system
  • open new accounts to get around a suspension or ban

6. Contact and chat

  • Use chats, phone numbers and LINE IDs from mongdoo only to discuss the sale.
  • Messages and listings are checked automatically for phone numbers, bank accounts or links reported for fraud, and users are shown a warning.
  • The team may read a chat that has been reported, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You can block another user at any time.

7. Content rights

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post, and grant mongdoo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, resize and translate them (including machine or AI translation) and to show them in search results and item suggestions on the service for as long as the listing is shown. You confirm you have the rights to what you post.

The mongdoo name, logo and system belong to the operator.

8. How listings are ordered

The home page and search results show the newest listings first unless you choose another order, such as price low to high, and you can filter by category, province, condition or price. No one currently pays to have listings shown first. If that changes, such listings will be clearly labelled.

9. Moderation and enforcement

  • Report inappropriate listings or users with the “Report” button or the Report a problem page. We review reports promptly.
  • If we find a breach of these terms or the law, we may hide listings, warn, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and add fraud-related details to our watch list. Where needed to prevent harm, we may act immediately without prior notice.
  • If you think we got it wrong, ask for a review through the Report a problem page.
  • We cooperate with authorities as the law requires. Victims of online fraud can report it at thaipoliceonline.go.th or call the 1441 hotline.

10. Limitation of liability

  • The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it available around the clock but don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • Sales are between buyer and seller, who settle any dispute between themselves. We may help coordinate or provide information to authorities as the law requires, but we don't decide disputes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from sales, other users' actions or content users post.
  • Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights protected by law or excludes liability for our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Leaving the service

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time on the My account page, or ask us through the Report a problem page or support@mongdoo.com. Some data may need to be kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. For significant changes we'll give advance notice on the site. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Thai law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Thai courts. Where versions in other languages exist, the Thai version prevails.
